History

The shoulderspin was developed in the 1970s, evolving from the backspin . Powerful Pexter did shoulderspins in 1983 . A spin clockwise on the right arm (or counterclockwise on the left) is the standard shoulderspin, while the opposite direction can be considered a variation.

Variations

Bicycle Spin

Shoulderspin in a bicycle position. Done in the UK in 1985 . Also done by Kid Freeze and Kwikstep . Sometimes considered a star .

Star

Shoulderspin with the limbs straight, such that the body looks like a five-pointed star .
